Hi, I'm Val.
The story
My life has changed so much in the past two years. After graduating university, I got married and moved to Boston where I started my career in STEM Education. Then I became a mom, and a mom again. In the middle of big life changes, I went looking for tools to help me process them. Everything I found was either built to keep memories of motherhood or too overwhelming for me to keep up with. I wanted something that I could finish in ten minutes and still feel like I did something to connect with all of myself.
So I made it. Favorite Title started as pages I designed and wrote on using my tablet. Then I shared them with other women, and they kept asking for something more specific. Here I am now building tools to help other new moms process big changes and discover their new identity.
Why Favorite Title? You hold a lot of titles, and you deserve to love all of them. As a mom, wife, engineer, teacher, founder, I get you girl.
